HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre Update

Quick details:
  • HopeSpring has been functioning out of the Inn of Waterloo with a great deal of virtual programing
  • Fire at the Inn of Waterloo on February 9th caused extensive damage
  • HopeSpring’s services continue to be available to support oncology patients

HopeSpring has been operating out of a section of the Inn of Waterloo since prior to the start of the pandemic. Much of the support programs available have changed to virtual support over the past year. Wigs and camisoles have been delivered to people’s homes directly by HopeSpring over the past year.

A fire at the Inn of Waterloo occurred on February 9th, causing extensive damage within the building.

However, please note, HopeSpring is running at 100 percent capacity. The oncology program and care providers throughout the region should have no worries in recommending the programs. Wigs and camisoles were removed from the Inn to save them from smoke damage. These services are continuing to run.
